Menabrea manor was constructed
in St Cassin at the end of the 17th century on the hills of the
" Massif de la Chartreuse" now classified as the Chartreuse Regional
Park. In the 19th century, Menabrea manor was home to the family
of Louis Frédérique, earl of Menabrea, and a famous mathematician,
general and minister. The manor has two towers and is surrounded
by 6000 square yards of land with hundred-year-old trees. This
park also contains a neo-gothic chapel with a view of the surrounding
countryside: " lac du Bourget ", "Massifs des Bauges ", "Chaîne
de l'Epine " and Chartreuse. |
